Very shocked and saddened to hear of the way too early death of Terry. I used to sit next to him at Upper Beeding Primary School. Days in school seemed to last forever, but I suspect like me Terry, although physically present was day dreaming of that perfect moment when the red tipped celluloid float slid away into the depths. As has been mentioned he was a pretty useful footballer as evidenced by the old Herald clipping shown. Henfield Angling Club and it’s members owes a lot to the work and enthusiasm of Terry, and he’ll be sorely missed, but in no way forgotten. RIP
